Given the government's focus on the COVID-19 pandemic, they have postponed the launch of the 2020 parental sponsorship program. It's great news that this is a postponement rather than a cancellation of the program, so hopefully we will see the launch in May or June of this year. There appears to be a commitment to the uninterrupted processing of parents and grandparents who were selected under last year's program, which is also good news.
